Um romance que provoca uma crise de crescimento/A novel that provokes a growth crisis

O substantivo “crise”, do grego, significa mudança súbita, difícil momento de tomada de decisão. Crianças e adultos, nós vivemos em permanente crise, pois somos chacoalhados com repentinas mudanças de rumo, nem sempre confortáveis. É sobre as mudanças, as perdas, os amores e o amadurecimento provocados por crises o singelo romance “Aos 7 e aos 40”,  de João Anzanello Carrascoza, narrado pelo mesmo personagem quando criança e, depois, já adulto. Leitura leve, rápida e comovente.

Escrito em capítulos que alternam o ponto de vista do garoto aos sete anos (em primeira pessoa) e adulto aos 40 anos (em terceira pessoa), “Aos 7 e aos 40” traz uma linguagem muito bem trabalhada, em prosa poética, que traduz o olhar infantil para os dilemas do garoto e que traduz o olhar maduro para os dilemas de um quarentão. Written in chapters that alternate the point of view of a boy at age seven (in the first person) and an adult at age 40 (in the third person), “At 7 years old and at 40” brings a very well-crafted language, in poetic prose, which translates the childish look at the boy’s dilemmas, which translates the mature look into the dilemmas of a forty-year-old. Reading this novel is a way of dialoguing with the daily crises that we provoke in our daily growth.
