Gostaria de convidar vocês para uma conversa sobre meu mais recente livro, “Professoras”, a ser realizada na Giostri Livraria Teatro (rua Rui Barbosa, 201, Bela Vista, São Paulo), no dia 15 de abril, sábado, às 15h00. Este evento será mais intimista, e eu falarei sobre o enredo do livro, sobre o meu processo de criação e responderei a perguntas do público. Ao meu lado, estará um parceiro, o músico Cassiano Nogara, que tocará peças do Villa Lobos. Também mostraremos composições que fizemos em parceria.
O romance “Professoras” é um livro de ficção inspirado no trabalho voluntário que fiz na Penitenciária Feminina da Capital, no Carandiru, dando aula de Português para as presas estrangeiras. O enredo é uma travessia para o interior do presídio, para o interior do universo das presas, para o interior de seus países de origem, para o interior do Brasil, para o interior do leitor.

English – I would like to invite you to a chat about my most recent book, “Professoras”, to be held at Giostri Livraria Teatro (Rua Rui Barbosa, 201, São Paulo), on April 15th, Saturday, at 3 pm. This event will be more intimate, and I will talk about the plot of the book, about my creation process and I will answer questions from the audience. By my side, will be a partner, musician Cassiano Nogara, who will play pieces by Villa Lobos. We will also show songs that we composed in partnership.
The novel “Professoras” is a fiction book inspired by the volunteer work I did at the Female Penitentiary of São Paulo, in Carandiru, teaching Portuguese to foreign inmates. The plot is a journey into the interior of the prison, into the universe of the prisoners, into their countries of origin, into the interior of Brazil, into the interior of the reader.
