O palco do teatro é o espaço para que a ficção se torne realidade. Está em cartaz há um ano – viajando por palcos do Brasil e de Portugal – uma peça que é, a um só tempo, ficção e realidade. Ali, os antônimos se tornam sinônimos. O título da peça não poderia ser mais real: “Ficções”, um monólogo encenado pela atriz Vera Holtz e pelo músico Federico Puppi.
De forma bem simples, pode-se dizer que “Ficções” é uma tentativa de explicar à plateia a origem da vida, desde o Big Bang, passando pelo surgimento dos minerais, dos animais irracionais até chegar ao Homo Sapiens, que costuma ser a espécie dominante na plateia do teatro. Neste caminho, Vera Holtz conduz uma série de transformações, nas quais a ficção e a realidade se comunicam e se misturam. Uma banana é um telefone, mas ela é também uma fruta, comida ao vivo no palco. Vera Holtz é um primata, é um asno com aparência de professor, é o imperador da Babilônia, é uma mulher violentada e escravizada. É a atriz Vera Holtz. E é um ramo de trigo. Vera Holtz domestica o público do teatro, que busca a ficção, mas recebe de volta a realidade. O trigo domesticou os nômades no início da civilização humana, mantendo-os em casa e oferecendo-lhes a possibilidade de uma vida segura e farta com a atividade agrícola. Mas, ao mesmo tempo, a domesticação agrícola do ser humano trouxe uma consequência menos nobre: doenças, a busca por propriedades, violência, invasões, destruição. O lado de lá da ficção é a realidade.
Com um domínio de palco completo, cantando, dançando, tocando instrumentos e transformando objetos em vida, Vera Holtz, sob a direção criativa de Rodrigo Portella, faz o público rir com o desconforto de que as ficções provocam fricções na realidade. “Ficções” é uma experiência que merece ser esfregada. Vera Holtz is a primate, a donkey that looks like a professor, the emperor of Babylon, a woman who was raped and enslaved. She is the actress Vera Holtz. And she is a branch of wheat. Vera Holtz domesticates the theater audience, who seek fiction but receive reality in return. Wheat domesticated the nomads at the beginning of human civilization, keeping them at home and offering them the possibility of a safe and plentiful life through agricultural activity. However, at the same time, the agricultural domestication of human beings brought a less noble consequence: diseases, the search for property, violence, invasions, destruction. The other side of fiction is reality. With complete control of the stage, singing, dancing, playing instruments and transforming objects into life, Vera Holtz, under the creative direction of Rodrigo Portella, makes the audience laugh at the discomfort that fictions cause friction in reality. “Fictions” is an experience that deserves to be rubbed. That way, who knows, we might create fire.
